Why this is an index, not a set of biographies
A name, caption or memory can be important without telling us enough for a full life story. The site keeps these dogs visible without inventing links between namesakes.
Named dogs we know less about
Early Lance
A 1961 parachute-jump promotion called Lance London’s son, but did not say which London or give a pedigree.
Lady
Named in one account as Thorn’s mother. Her dates and background are not yet known.
Hobo
Known in one account only; that is not enough for a reliable individual profile.
Venus
Appears in one recollection, without the context needed to build a biography.
Cairo
Named in a book routine, but little else is yet known about the individual dog.
Later teams
A 1981 caption names London, Bo, Toro, Lance and Thorn. Those later names are kept separate from the early team unless source and context establish identity.
