Chronology

This is a working sequence of the years we can trace, with the important gaps left visible.

Before the public record

Early 1950s: Eisenmann’s later sequence suggests that London entered his life before baseball and nightclub work, followed by time in a newspaper office. The original dog’s exact birth, acquisition and prior history remain unknown.

1955

A firm public glimpse: Eisenmann and London appear together in contemporary Hollywood material connected with Seven Little Foys and a LIFE caption.

1957–58

On screen: London received a formal credit in the 1958 feature The Littlest Hobo. Eisenmann’s Miracle of the Lamb account appears to refer to this production, though it is not yet clear whether that was an official alternate title.

After the original London

Later publicity and productions used the name London again. It is not yet clear how all of those references relate to one another.
