Family and descendants

Press reports describe an early working group around London, but a complete pedigree and every claimed relationship remain unclear.

A reported family group

A 1964 newspaper report described four dogs as half-brothers and named the retired original film London as their father. It is a valuable contemporary account of how the group was presented, but not a complete pedigree.

Names are not identities

London, Thorn, Toro and Lance each appear at more than one point in the wider Hobo story. Shared names do not prove that two references are the same dog, related dogs or a continuous line of performers.

What would strengthen the picture

Registration material, dated photographs, production records and correspondence could clarify individual identities. Until then, the site keeps the early dogs separate from later namesakes and avoids filling gaps with appearance-based guesses.
